ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Sharon Wold - Designer/Owner
Sharon is a proud native Texan, with a degree from Texas A&M University in Animal Science. She started her own interior design company & has been in business since 2006. She eventually began creating leather bags and started Jackson Place Collection in 2019.
In her spare time, Sharon enjoys traveling the mid & southwest with her husband of 37 years. She draws much of her inspiration from their annual trips to Santa Fe & Taos, New Mexico. As a mother of 2 & grandmother of 3, she is grateful for her family’s love and support.
HOW IT ALL STARTED?
Her father, Jack Place, and her first grandchild, Jackson, inspired the name for Jackson Place Collection. It was her mother, who passed down her love for sewing, which is shown everyday in her handcrafted bags.
She enjoys spending time on the family ranch in Madisonville, Texas. It was here that she developed her love for horses, cows, hides, and leathers.
WHAT ARE THOSE TAGS?
Antique Brass Cattle Tags are a signature design feature on JPC bags. Made in the 1920s and 1930s, these rare antique tags were worn on chains around the necks of dairy cows. While they are no longer used for that purpose today, we love that each one is unique, just like our bags.
A MESSAGE FROM THE OWNER:
“I would like to thank my unbelievable sales and marketing team at JPC because without them this would not be possible!😉”
